HEAL was developed to provide the Yuba Sutter Community with a means of finding answers to the most detailed health related questions. A community service of Sutter North Medical Foundation, HEAL is open to the public and offers near limitless access to information on the internet as well as other public access medium. A staff librarian is also available to assist patrons.

HEAL is available for use by the entire community free of charge (with the exception of nominal charges for our printing service). HEAL is located at 480 Plumas Blvd, Yuba City. The library consists of the following resources:

• A comprehensive access point (Ovid Technologies) which provides access to various medical journals nationwide in addition to national medical associations AND the prestigious MedLine
• Internet access for health searches
• Books
• Newsletters
• Medical Journals
• Clippings
• Pamphlets
• Audio and video cassettes
• Information and local health agencies
• Information on regional and national health resources
• A part-time librarian to assist as needed
